A Note on What These Fees Represent

We believe patients deserve to understand the cost of ketamine treatment before they pick up the phone. Our fees reflect what we believe is the best model to promote safety, individual attention, and psychiatric progress.

 

IV Ketamine with Psychiatric Care — Initial Course

Initial treatment ordinarily includes six infusions and six individual psychiatric appointments over approximately two to three weeks.

 

Combined-Clinician Course — $3,500 total
Includes six infusions and six individual psychiatric appointments.

The first two infusions and psychiatric appointments are with Dr. Dull; the remaining four are with Beth Villani, a dual-board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. Dr. Dull designs and directs the full course.

 

Dr. Dull Only — $4,500 total
Includes six infusions and six individual psychiatric appointments.

All six infusions and psychiatric appointments are with Dr. Dull, for patients who prefer Dr. Dull to provide every treatment.

 

Two Clinical Services Are Provided at Every IV Treatment

Every IV treatment includes two distinct clinical services: the ketamine infusion and a full psychiatric appointment.

 

Dr. Dull, a board-certified psychiatrist, designs and directs every course. Each infusion is administered by a board-certified clinician, Dr. Dull or Beth Villani, who remains in the room with the patient, one to one, throughout. This provides continuous medical and psychiatric monitoring during the infusion. Separately, each treatment day also includes an individual psychiatric appointment that extends beyond monitoring and administering the infusion itself.

 

Depending on clinical need, the psychiatric appointment may include assessing symptoms extending beyond simple rating scales — including mania, obsessions and compulsions, panic, trauma reactions, sleep, appetite, and functioning — as well as starting, adjusting, or stopping other medications. It may also include ordering or reviewing medication levels, metabolic or thyroid studies, and therapeutic interventions drawn from cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, and other evidence-based approaches. These assessments become part of your ongoing psychiatric care — either directly with us or, with your authorization, in coordination with your treating provider.

 

Although both services occur on the same treatment day, the infusion and psychiatric appointment are documented and itemized separately on the superbill, each with its own service code and charge. Depending on your plan, out-of-network reimbursement may be available for either or both services. In some plans, reimbursement for the psychiatric appointment may equal or exceed reimbursement for the infusion. Reimbursement depends on your plan and cannot be guaranteed.

 

 

IV Ketamine with Psychiatric Care — Maintenance

Maintenance treatments are scheduled individually when clinically appropriate. Each includes the ketamine infusion and a full psychiatric appointment with the clinician providing the treatment.

 

With Beth Villani — $600 per treatment

With Dr. Dull — $800 per treatment

Before Treatment Begins — Initial Evaluation

Every patient begins with an evaluation. For patients coming to us specifically for ketamine treatment, the evaluation focuses on whether ketamine is appropriate and can be provided safely:

Dr. Dull — $375

Beth Villani — $275

These evaluations are billed separately from treatment.

For patients also establishing ongoing psychiatric care with us, the first visit is a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation rather than a ketamine-focused evaluation. The applicable fee is explained and confirmed before the appointment is scheduled.
